Insurance

Every year millions of dollars of damage are caused to crops all over Australia. Fire and hail can strike quickly and often without warning. Crop Insurance is a seasonal insurance period that is available for Primary Producers to cover their broadacre crops against fire or hail during the cropping season.

Through our relationship with DBIS, we are able to offer you policies from CGU, Insurance Facilitators, Primacy and Rural Affinity just to name a few. Essentially we are a one-stop shop and offer the most competitive rate available to protect your farm income and livelihood.

The policies can provide cover for:

  • Fire & Hail
  • Cover from first emergence
  • Chemical overspray by other parties
  • Damage by straying livestock owned by other parties
  • Transit cover
  • Stored seed
  • Reducing excess benefit
  • Multi-peril
  • Weather Insurance

Crop insurance is offered with two settlement options – “After Harvest” (pay only for what you harvest) or the “Final Revision” method.

No one wants to pay more for their insurance than they need to and we have options to further reduce premiums by changing excesses or locking in yields or values.
